What You Need to Know

I have been fortunate enough to be involved in restoring and repairing other peoples homes, here in France, since 2007.

I have a love of old buildings and have learnt my trade from a two truly skilled artisans who have since retired. Each and every project requires individual skills and the ability to sympathetically bring the building back to life.

My clients usually have a good idea of what they wish to achieve, but sometimes by looking at things from a different angle, it can add huge character and charm. Nothing is impossible.

Stone is a medium i am most comfortable working with, be it repairing old interior/exterior walls, or pointing and reforming doorways and windows . Pointing is a speciality, The testimonies and photos on this site go some way to showcasing the difference a well pointed wall can make . Windows and doors can take on a completely different aspect when stone is exposed and pointed with traditional methods using lime.
